Pasta Workshops and Suppers, 2010 - ongoing
The Pasta Workshops, inspired by the Cooking in Italy videos (2006), were free to the public and centered around community. In spaces like galleries, home kitchens, community centres, church basements, and pubs, participants came together to learn how to make handmade pasta with simple ingredients. These workshops produced large amounts of fresh pasta, which were then used to feed the local community as a free, family-style supper. Many volunteers assisted with the suppers, helping to prepare and serve the meal. This sense of community involvement made the event even more special, as it brought people together not just to cook and eat, but to contribute to a shared experience of connection and celebration.
